HIT Technology
HIT Features
- High Conversion Efficiency
- Excellent Temperature Characteristics
- Considerable output under diffuse and low light conditions
SANYO HIT Modules combine a thin single crystal wafer with an ultrathin amorphous silicon layer. They are thus 28%* more efficient than the market average. This means greater energy recovery on a smaller roof area, and thus also lower installation material and labour costs: even a solar system of only 20 m2 can produce energy worth €1,300** per year.
*As compared to the average efficiency of 120 different modules on the European market; benchmark values for selected solar modules according to manufacturers’ catalogues, December 2009.
**SANYO study based on HIT-240/235HDE4 modules installed on 30 degree angle roofs in the Munich area, oriented southward. Estimated performance. Source: Compensation for electricity contributed to the grid, 2010
